Made in Romania by Hora

Hora Reghin, the oldest musical instrument factory in Europe, has been making traditional instruments in Romania for generations. Our pan flutes are handmade by Hora luthiers from maple sourced in the Carpathian Mountains and naturally seasoned for 5-10 years, ensuring a rich tone and lasting durability. Every pan flute is tested by master craftsmen before it leaves the factory, and the high quality of Hora instruments is certified by ISO 9001.

Alongside pan flutes, we offer a full family of string instruments made by Hora: the Irish bouzouki, built for rhythm and accompaniment in Celtic music; the octave mandolin, bridging the gap between mandolin and guitar; the mandola, with its warm, resonant tone; the mandolin, available in traditional Portuguese or budget-friendly Modern styles; and the domra, a traditional Russian instrument with 3-string or 4-string versions.

Every instrument comes with a 12-month guarantee and our 30-day return policy. A matching soft case is available separately for each string instrument in our Accessories section. We ship worldwide, and for customers in the United States, customs duties are calculated and added to the shipping fee at checkout, so there are no surprise charges on delivery.
