Mandola RG2 made in Romania, 44.3cm scale length, with a solid spruce top, maple neck and solid flat maple bottom. In addition the Hora M1088 Mandola RG2 offers maple sides and an acacia fretboard. A simple mother of pearl-colored tuners complement the instrument’s overall appearance.

The neck region features a maple wood design, including each side of the instrument. The fretboard features the best of Acacia material construction for a flawless finish while the overall look appears outstanding for a mandolin in its category.

While the body length measures 39cm, the height measure 7.7cm. As for the scale length, it measures approximately 41.3cm, and the nut width measures 3.3cm.

The spruce and maple wood comes from Romanian Carpathians Mountains seasoned naturally for 5-10 years and the lacquers used is water based. As a result the finish with this kind of lacquers produces a more open and powerful sound.

This Mandola can be tunned in C-G-D-A, GG – dd – aa – dd or GG – dd – aa – ee tunings.
