Pan Flute Tuning
Our pan flutes are already tuned for playing but for various reasons such as: humidity, high or low temperatures, some tubes of pan flute can alter the sound.
We developed a very simple and fast system of tuning. By simply moving the rubber corks, which are located inside each pipe, using a wooden stick you can easily tune to another key or just fine-tune the instrument.
The rod end should be cut straight (at 90 degrees) and should fit loosely in order to not force the pipe walls.
For lowering the tone press the cork down and for raising the tone press the cork upper until you obtain the desired sound.
During tuning check, the pan flute must be kept in the same inclination to lips. A slight tilt to the pan flute can increase or descend the tone.
